Sealed Double Security Lid
The sealed double security lid with a degassing outlet and flame arrester safely vents excess gas and blocks external ignition sources, protecting both the battery and the engine compartment.

Tall Plate Group
The tall plate group installed under high compression withstands vibration and prevents active mass shedding, maintaining stable capacity through frequent start-stop cycling.

Framed Negative Plate
The framed negative plate reinforces the plate edges against growth and distortion, preserving grid alignment and stable capacity throughout deep-cycle service.

Framed Positive Plate
New framed grid design with a high-tech alloy resists corrosion and grid growth; the surrounding high-capillarity glass mat provides extra absorption for maximum electrolyte volume and prevents acid stratification.

Absorbent Glass Mat Separator
The absorbent glass mat separator holds the electrolyte in its glass fleece pores, eliminating free acid inside the battery - the foundation of spill-proof operation and internal oxygen recombination.

Thicker Polypropylene Case
The thicker polypropylene case adds mechanical strength and vibration resistance, shielding the high-compression plate group over demanding start-stop operation.
The Start Stop System and the Role of a Start Stop Battery
The Start Stop System automatically stops the engine when the vehicle is not moving and restarts it as soon as the vehicle begins to accelerate. This technology avoids unnecessary energy loss caused by engine idling and has been proven to cut fuel consumption by 5-15%, while improving engine silence for greater driving comfort.

Please note: traditional lead-acid batteries are not suitable for Start-Stop micro-hybrid vehicles. When replacing the battery, Western Electrical recommends installing an EFB or AGM battery of the same group size, respecting the original battery technology - and an AGM battery should always be replaced with a new AGM battery.
