R&D Mission
The R&D Center at Western Electrical focuses on the further development of existing technologies, research into new material applications, production engineering and quality control processes, new technologies and systems for improving operational efficiency, as well as research into next-generation battery technologies for the future.

Further Development of Existing Technologies
Including Silver-Calcium, Calcium-Calcium, Carbon Coating, EFB, AGM, GEL, Tubular battery, and Dura Life technologies.
New Technologies and Equipment for Efficiency Improvement
Research into new technologies and equipment that improve products and production processes for better operational efficiency and quality control - e.g. automation, digitization, and AI applications.
New Materials and Forward-Looking Technology Research
Research into new materials for various electrochemical systems, aimed at optimizing fast-charging capability and energy density, as well as next-generation power technologies - e.g. Sodium-ion batteries and solid-state technologies.
